Childcare Funding

Bloomfield Childcare operates across three local authorities and proudly offers funded early learning and childcare places for children aged 3–5 years. To support families with diverse needs, we offer term-time contracts, annualised contracts and full-day childcare options. Our nurseries are open Monday to Friday, 7am–6pm, 50 weeks per year, providing reliable and flexible care to suit busy family schedules. We work closely with each local authority to ensure our funded places meet all quality and eligibility requirements, giving families confidence in the support they receive. Our team is on hand to guide parents through the funding application process, making it as smooth and stress-free as possible. We provide clear, friendly advice on what families may be entitled to and help with any paperwork or queries along the way. By partnering with local services and offering personalised support, we aim to make accessing early learning and childcare both straightforward and inclusive for every family.

Quality Learning & Curriculum

We are dedicated to delivering national curriculum guidance to the highest standard. We employ qualified teachers and curriculum leads who oversee the quality of play, learning and interaction across our nurseries, ensuring consistency, excellence and a focus on each child’s next steps. Our learning environments are thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, creativity and critical thinking from an early age. Staff carefully plan activities that balance structured learning with child-led exploration, helping children develop at their own pace while being gently challenged. Regular observations and assessments ensure learning is tailored to each child’s interests, strengths and developmental needs. By fostering a love of learning from the very beginning, we help every child build the confidence and skills they need for future success. Our holistic approach ensures every child feels supported, engaged and inspired throughout their early educational journey, nurturing confidence, curiosity and a strong sense of belonging.

Healthy Meals & Homely Dining

We understand the importance of nutrition in supporting healthy development. Our in-house cooks prepare wholesome, balanced snacks and lunches each day, ensuring mealtimes are positive, nourishing and homely experiences for every child. We use fresh, high-quality ingredients and incorporate a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and proteins into our menus. Meals are thoughtfully planned to meet children’s dietary needs, including any allergies or cultural requirements. We also encourage children to explore new flavours and learn about healthy eating habits in a fun and relaxed way. By fostering a calm, family-style dining environment, we help children build confidence, independence and a lifelong love for nutritious food. Our commitment to providing nourishing, thoughtfully prepared meals supports children’s overall wellbeing by creating enjoyable, meaningful food experiences that encourage healthy choices, positive attitudes toward eating, and confidence at mealtimes.

Community Commitment

Each of our nurseries has a strong commitment to partnership working and community engagement. We actively participate in local events, support family initiatives and build strong links with community groups to ensure our nurseries remain vibrant, connected and inclusive places for all. We regularly collaborate with local businesses, care homes, schools and emergency services to enrich children’s learning experiences and strengthen community ties. These partnerships give children meaningful opportunities to explore the world around them, whether through intergenerational visits, safety workshops or local enterprise projects. By engaging with a wide range of community partners, we help children develop a sense of belonging and an understanding of their place within the wider community.
