As the newest nursery to join the Bloomfield Childcare Group, opening in January 2026, it marks an exciting milestone for the group. Bloomfield Childcare Group is proud to continue it's strong partnership with East Dunbartonshire Council working together to deliver high quality early learning and childcare for local families. With a purpose built environment and a dedicated team, the nursery looks forward to welcoming children from across the community and supporting them through every stage of their early learning journey.
Overview
Bloomfield Childcare Kirkintilloch, is the newest early learning and childcare service to join the Bloomfield Group. This nursery has been purposefully designed to meet — and exceed — all current Care Inspectorate standards, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for every child in our care. Our highly skilled and dedicated team at Kirkintilloch are committed to delivering high-quality care and learning experiences that encourage confidence, curiosity, and independence
Baby Rooms
Our baby room is a large, bright, open-plan space thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of our youngest learners. The environment includes dedicated sleep zones that support safe, restful naps, a purpose-built sensory room where babies can explore sounds, textures, lights, and movement and a nurturing play space that promotes early development through exploration and discovery. Babies also have direct access to their own secure garden, providing daily opportunities for fresh air and outdoor play.
Toddler Rooms
Our toddler rooms are spacious, bright, and a fully accessible environment, giving children the freedom to move, explore, and investigate at their own pace. Here, children enjoy a wide range of loose parts, sensory play, and messy activities, a purpose-built wellbeing zone, where children learn practical life skills such as baking, food preparation, and personal safety and a child-friendly Bloomfield Café, supporting independence through self-serving snacks and lunches. The rooms also benefit from direct access to a large outdoor gardens, where children are encouraged to explore daily.
Outdoor Garden Space
Bloomfield Childcare Kirkintilloch has an exciting outdoor learning space where children can choose where they would like to play throughout the day, encouraging independence and confidence. The outdoor space has a wide range of high-quality learning resources, creative stations that promote sensory exploration, imagination, and early literacy and spaces that support all areas of the early learning curriculum.
